More shows, more players

Hello all,

I have some music updates for you. Some new shows added, and some new faces added to some of he shows - most notably, Ivan Klipstein (long ago moved from Madison to Montreal) will be in town for my birthday show and will grace us with a short Auroratones set! This Thursday!!! plus more...

Saturday August 19, 8pm
Ladyscissors and Andy Ewen play Mother Fool's Crashiversary Party!
Mother Fool's, 1101 Williamson

Mother Fool's will be celebrating their very existence with a star-studded line up to officially re-launch after being smashed up by a car last fall.

Opening the show will be Andy Ewen and Skinny Gaviar. Andy played at Mother Fool's first grand opening in 1995, so it seems only appropriate that he play at this one. He'll be joined by his friend Skinny, who was our featured visual artist last month in the cafe.

Ladyscissors will then take the stage. Featuring Mother Fool's co-owner, Stephanie Rearick, on drums, trumpet and vocals, the band will be making their Mother Fool's debut. Guitarist Brent George is also the artist making our new mosaic and he is the carpenter / contractor who put us back together after the accident.
